If you both like the same scene, a convention day at ExCeL makes a great third date, ideally with matching costumes.

London's size works both ways. Set your distance so that someone is a reasonable journey away, say in your profile which part of the city you are in, and suggest meeting halfway. Two people at opposite ends of the Elizabeth line can still be a good match.

Across the boroughs

London members are not all in the centre. Plenty live in Croydon, Stratford, Wembley, Ealing and Walthamstow, and the outer boroughs often have quieter board game cafés and gaming bars of their own. North and south of the river feel like different cities on a weeknight, so a match in Lewisham and one in Camden can be equally far apart. The Overground and the Elizabeth line make east to west easier than it used to be, and the Night Tube on Fridays and Saturdays helps after a late session.
