SoulGeek, a long-running geek dating site, closed its dating service at the end of 2024. Geek2Geek, another geek dating site, no longer runs as one. Older lists of gamer dating sites still include both.

All of the services above are free to start, and none is free for everything. On Gamer Singles Dating, a free account includes a full profile, browsing, daily matches, a daily allowance of messages and replies to paid members, which is enough to find out whether there are people near you worth talking to.
